i found the hotel very quiet, nestled within the university grounds. the staff offered helpful suggestions for local restaurants. registering my car at check-in was necessary to avoid a parking ticket. the complimentary breakfast offered a lot of choices.

The hotel was super clean. all staff were amazing and helpful. They couldn't have done enough. the attention to detail on the tables was also very good. i saw christmas tree napkins and a menu.
the curtains in my room had some water damage. the tables also had water damage with some chips.

the free car parking was a big bonus (i mean, who doesn't like free parking?).
the room looked tired and a bit grubby. the kettle had detergent residue, so i didn't even bother making tea. the shower was practically unusable as it kept slipping down, a real pain.

poor soundproofingempty minibar
I found that the soundproofing was not great. I could hear conversations and noise from the hallway quite clearly. It disrupted my sleep somewhat. The minibar was also disappointing. It was completely empty upon arrival, and I would have appreciated having some basic refreshments available in the room.
